this is me. pensive. serious. professional.
I'm an independent journalist and documentary filmmaker based in the UK. I cover conflict, crime, and politics all over the world. I make documentaries, write articles, and take photos. I often go to active frontlines to find out why and what people are fighting for during war and conflict. I also go to war to runaway from my problems back home in the sunny East Midlands. Nah just kidding.
I've reported from Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, southeast Turkey, Palestine, Peru, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Northern Ireland, and more.
I've worked for HBO, VICE News, Esquire, Frontline PBS, ProPublica, BBC News, Bellingcat, The Guardian, and Wired. I have the politics of Bart Simpson, so never really got on very well under any corporate setting. As a result, I started my own platform: POPULAR FRONT
